These are my neighbors. We met them a few years ago at a block party. Then we purchased their trampoline from them (of which we are still very grateful). And now, since I'm up at the elementary school all the time, I get to see her all the time!
Love this family! They are great! We had so much fun!

Love kids who tell it like it is! And the oldest little man (no not dad), told me that the only way he would smile, is if I farted.
I told him that I could only burp on command but that wasn't "gross enough".

Not all photographers make money!

Not long ago, I had a young man ring my doorbell in hopes to sell me a "miracle" cleaning solution. It seemed to work well, and in a house with 5 children I was intrigued....until he told me the price. It was well out of my budget and I had to admit, the cleaner would fall under the "want" category rather than a "need".

I gave the young man, a "thank you, but no thank you" response, explaining that I just couldn't afford it. His response startled me. He pointed out to my car and said, "I see you own your own a photography business, how do you not have enough money?" A little offended by the implication that I was lying, I just stated the honest truth. "It seems that the first thing to go in a these difficult economic times, are family photos." It's a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless.

So I've decided to make it a little easier for those who still want family photos. I am lowering my prices. Not only to help other, but I've also made a commitment to learn more about photography. I've learned that taking more pictures, is the best way to learn. So I'm hoping that with the lower prices, I will have more photo sessions.

For a limited time only, I am lowering my prices to $50.00

This still includes:
* 1 hour photo shoot at a location of your choice (within 20 miles)
* Photo proofing (croppign, enhancing, black and white, etc)
*a CD with 20-25 photos from your session with a permission to print form allowing you to have your photos printed at any locaion of your choosing.

If you know my parents, you know they are pretty awesome.

My dad is down to earth, organized, and has a sly, sarcastic sense of humor. Not many people know if he is teasing or serious. My advice has always been, if his mouth is moving, he's teasing.

My mom on the other hand is a fly-by -the-seat-of-your-pants type of person. She is fun and spontaneous.

Both of them will bend over backwards for their children and grandchildren (and they do that on a daily basis). They have always been my hero's and I have always strived to be a perfect mixture of the two of them.

These pictures don't even do them justice. They are beautiful people inside and out.

I love you mom and dad. Happy LATE 43rd Anniversary.

Last of the year

This was my last photo shoot of the year. Just a couple of my fav's.

My prices are not changing yet this year. It is still $150 for the the session which includes the 1-2 hour session at a place of your choosing and a CD with 20-35 photos from the session which have been proofed (cropped, black & white, etc). You can take this CD anywhere to be printed.

I am opening up my calendar for Jan, Feb, and March. Just shoot me an email if you are interested.

Baby Lil' Man!

This was the loudest photo shoot I've done. No, not because of the baby's screaming, but, to keep him happy, we had to keep the vacuum going throughout the shoot. I was surprised it worked. Who knew a loud vacuum could keep a lil' man so happy!
